Ben Strube

Ben oversees all Pre-Approval requests from home buyers and runs the day-to-day operations of the company. For buyers needing a specialty mortgage, he works with buyers directly through the entire purchase journey. 

He worked in residential loan originations, loan processing, quality control, compliance, and closing coordination for the past 7 years. He graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from UT Tyler, following a Bill Archer Fellowship at the US Senate.

Ben handles negotiations with lenders for all our clients, to get the best terms and pricing for their loans. He also develops curricula for new Continuing Education courses which we offer to Texas Realtors, to fulfill the education piece of our company’s mission. Canon Buckingham, Senior Processor

Canon began his mortgage career in 2010 at Nationstar Mortgage in Irving, Texas. Since then he has served as a senior loan processor with Pacific Union Financial, Stearns, AmeriHome, First Guaranty, Mid-America, and AmeriSave. He graduated from University of North Texas with a B.A. in History and Film.

Canon oversees our loan processing for our Self-Employed, Corporate Relocation, Jumbo, and VA clientele. He lives in Frisco, Texas and in his spare time he loves videography and growing his baseball card collection and spending time with his 4 kids.

Christopher Chapa, Junior Processor

Chris began his mortgage career in 2014 working at a local credit union and served four years as a primary loan processsor for another mortgage brokerage, prior to joining Mortgage On A Mission. Chris joins our team to serve our First Time Buyers seeking Conventional and FHA programs, as well as our Bridge Loan programs for Home Sellers. In his spare time, Chris volunteers in local theater productions and tries to keep his 5-year-old son out of trouble! He enjoys helping First Time Buyers achieve their homeownership dreams.
